I - LIGHT / CSEM - 2019 UNIVERSAL HEALTH COVERAGE – 2019

The project between LIGHT and CSEM was held in 2019 to promote the philosophy of universal health coverage in Haiti. Numerous local leaders and government authorities took part in the awareness-raising activities. Over 8,000 participants were impacted by various activities through community gatherings.

II - LIGHT / UNICEF – 2020 REDUCTION OF COLLATERAL EFFECTS OF COVID-19 ON MATERNAL AND CHILD HEALTH

This is a project carried out in 2020 by the LIGHT organization and UNICEF to assess the impact of COVID-19 in communities where children, young mothers, pregnant women and other vulnerable people live. We conducted awareness campaigns on COVID-19. We also provided support guidelines and social assistance to communities living in remote areas. More than 80,000 people were impacted by this project.

III - LIGHT / FOSREF - C19RM – 2021/2023

The C19RM project is run in partnership with FOSREF to raise awareness among communities in remote areas where the rate of vulnerability is considerably high. Many people have been trained in the best methods for avoiding and mitigating COVID-19 contamination. From 2021 to 2023, together with our partners this project has impacted the life of half a million people throughout the country.
